Wordless Wednesday: Gaming

Rolling some dice...

AD&D 2e with Matt, Melanie, Joey, and Russ. Looking forward to playing again on Saturday. Okay, so maybe it's not exactly wordless... but as close as I come.

Linking up with Wordless Wednesday.

  2. That's awesome, Diana! Do y'all play D&D? We play 2e and 4e, but we also play about a dozen other games (like 7th Sea, World of Darkness, etc.). I collect dice and have tons of sets, but the black and pink ones are one of my favorites.

  3. I like the warm mood of these pics...it feels like peering into a scene from forty years ago.

  4. That's almost, sorta what I was going for. I love the filters on Instagram, where I had originally posted these. The more vintage-ish, the better. :D

  7. I thought I posted earlier, but I guess I didn't press the post comment button.

I am sort of envious of you, since I've never had the opportunity to play a tabletop RPG before, and it always seemed like it would be a lot of fun. Community especially made it look appealing since they were almost all novices playing the game.

  8. I started playing 15 years ago when I met my husband. Now, we play a ton of different games and it's pretty time consuming. We enjoy it, though. Sometimes it's just me and Matt, but others we play with friends. You should find a group, it's a great way to socialize. :)

  9. I started playing one of those older PC AD&D games, Planescape Torment, a few days ago. It is one of the least combat oriented ones, so there is a lot of emphasis on solving problems/puzzles in a lot of different ways. I am enjoying it quite a bit, and though I don't know what ruleset it uses, I think I am picking some stuff up about how they work.
